  1. The list is a good one. But i don’t think Yakubu should be part of that list. Uche’s absence will create a vacuum in the team. The coach has the final say and i think he made his choice in the interest of Nigerians. I wish them success in S’Africa.

Hello,it’s been an expedient to express my introspection on internet, concerning nigeria list for the worldcup the absence of uche in the term can create a lot of avock in the squad, yakubu aiyegbeni is rightoff in nigeria list and besides we don’t av termwork and there using politice in nigeria term.

  4. the list is as expected.so sad uche was not shortlisted.I strongly believe aiyegbeni and yobo are not meant to make the worldcup squad.Chief kanu himself should not ve sent uche out of that squad, anyway, best wishes to the coach and his bias crew……………………nigerians know their heroes.

  8. I respect the coach’s decision. Not worried about anyone dropped, but sad that Yakubu and Nsofor are going to SA.Why did he drop Uche ike?Haba, this man don kill us.How did he arrived at that answer?Who’s going to score our goals?I know he may have his reasons, but he should not have dropped Uche.If it’s Amodu,Nigerians will open their loud mouths to criticise.I want them to react to the list. This Lagerbag may not be too real than our own Amodu.I wish them luck and hope they go beyond the first round.Shame to all of us.

  9. i do not see any reason for yobo to go south africa. he is a complete waste. apam is 99.9 percent better than him and as for yakubu he is no match for uche. it is very clear that there is a fowl play in this list. although nigeria is my country i wish them luck but i don’t think they will come out of group stage.

  10. I am utterly disappointed that Yakubu and Yobo made tha team, and that Kalu Uche, and Onyekachi Apan were dropped . Politics was used in the selection, and I am wishing the stupid coach and his bias crew a good world cup. I will not watch any of the Nigerian Game for this bias selection

  14. i understand that IK Unche is injured same happened to Apam Onyekachi, but what happen to Peter Utakah why did he drop him, to me o the coach is bias in his selection. Aiyegbeni should not even be on that list.

  15. as a football agent i think the coach as the final say but all i know is the squad is ok but they need to be careful with the way they play on the pitch and again the match against Argentina is must win game or else i know it won,t cause NFF to evicted the coach

  20. Uche being the highest goal scorer in the qualifiers does not entail that he is currently fit enough to score like before…we all remember how an injured Amokachi was taken to France 98, while a fully fit Akpoborie was dropped. Did we not pay the price then?

Let injured and unfit players pls take heart, 2015 is not that far away.

  24. Hello,

I am Sarawong Ton, the scouting contractor for Bec-Tero Sasana Football Club (Thai: สโมสรฟุตบอลบีอีซี เทโรศาสน) a newly opened club formed in 1992 {The Fire Dragons} to give young boys opportunity and structure to develop their football skills and team work ethics. We finished third in the Premier League last season. Arsenal Football Club, one of the world’s oldest and most respected Football teams, has announced a strategic partnership with Thailand’s entertainment giant BEC-TERO SASANA FC to create a historic football partnership whereby they can transfer players with the English club, they are also affiliated with Rangers FC, Hibernian, Celtic F and Mother well FC and recently provided eight players to the Thailand national football team.

Bec-Tero Sasana FC is now ready to build a team to play competitive matches to find a place in the Asian champion’s league. These features cannot be achieved without young and talented footballers with great skills, which are the reason I was hired by Bec-Tero Sasana FC to scout for skillful and talented young players from Africa, Europe and Asian countries. We will be grateful to receive you in our team for a professional football career trial as a player or an agent that will help us scout for talented players in your area.

We are currently hosting a three months trial tour, our main purpose is to recruit young and new footballers to help build our new team, so if you can play active football well, if you cannot play but have a brother or a friend that can play well, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

    ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERESTED PLAYERS:

(1.) Players must be male, aged 15 to 28.

(2.) Players must hold a valid International passport; the passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months.

(3.) Players must send scanned copy of their international passport data page and also their CV {curriculum vitae} which will be accessed by the officials; you will be notified if chosen to start registration immediately.

(4.) Players must send a scanned copy of their passport photograph (4by6).

    N.B:

The Air ticket, letter of invitation and Hotel accommodation (all inclusive) will be provided by the club for every registered player and players are advised to send their recent contact address so that their documents (Letter of invitation, Air ticket and Hotel reservation) will get to them safely. Once we send you your documents, all you need to do is to present our letter of invitation, flight ticket and hotel accommodation to the Thailand embassy in your country for a tourist visa.

The players that impress our coaches/scouts must sign a compulsory 3 years contract with the Bec-Tero Sasana FC team, the dropped players will be compensated and they will return to their home countries with their return tickets.
Please know that this is only a trial program, it is in no way an assurance of a place in the team, and each player will be judged by his skills, techniques and ability with the ball on the field of play by the coach and the entire technical department of the team. We would not allow racial discrimination or any misconduct during the period of this program. More importantly we won’t want people to abuse this gesture and use it as an opportunity to come to Thailand for any other purpose other than the football trial program, please we need footballers only !!!
