  1. The list is a good one. But i don’t think Yakubu should be part of that list. Uche’s absence will create a vacuum in the team. The coach has the final say and i think he made his choice in the interest of Nigerians. I wish them success in S’Africa.

  2. the list wz 2 wat i wz xpectin bt still am realy surprise wat yakubu should be included 2 dat list.i strongly believe in the coach and dat he wld make us proud i ve no doubt about dat and all d same i wish dem al d best @ d first ever Africa world cup

  3. Hello,it’s been an expedient to express my introspection on internet, concerning nigeria list for the worldcup the absence of uche in the term can create a lot of avock in the squad, yakubu aiyegbeni is rightoff in nigeria list and besides we don’t av termwork and there using politice in nigeria term.

  4. the list is as expected.so sad uche was not shortlisted.I strongly believe aiyegbeni and yobo are not meant to make the worldcup squad.Chief kanu himself should not ve sent uche out of that squad, anyway, best wishes to the coach and his bias crew……………………nigerians know their heroes.

  5. The coach knows how fit all these players are but the inclussion of yakubu and the absent of onyekachi Akpam is what i don’t understand, any way i wish Nigeria all the best.

  6. yakubu shudnt ve made the list, rather ikechuku uche.
danny shittu has been warming the bench of bolton wanderers so does nt deserve the list

  7. Am so happy 4 my king kanu who cares who go or not so far my king is there well i wish den d best dey so desire kanu go go go jst go make anoder history

  8. I respect the coach’s decision. Not worried about anyone dropped, but sad that Yakubu and Nsofor are going to SA.Why did he drop Uche ike?Haba, this man don kill us.How did he arrived at that answer?Who’s going to score our goals?I know he may have his reasons, but he should not have dropped Uche.If it’s Amodu,Nigerians will open their loud mouths to criticise.I want them to react to the list. This Lagerbag may not be too real than our own Amodu.I wish them luck and hope they go beyond the first round.Shame to all of us.

  9. i do not see any reason for yobo to go south africa. he is a complete waste. apam is 99.9 percent better than him and as for yakubu he is no match for uche. it is very clear that there is a fowl play in this list. although nigeria is my country i wish them luck but i don’t think they will come out of group stage.

  10. I am utterly disappointed that Yakubu and Yobo made tha team, and that Kalu Uche, and Onyekachi Apan were dropped . Politics was used in the selection, and I am wishing the stupid coach and his bias crew a good world cup. I will not watch any of the Nigerian Game for this bias selection

  11. Na waoh. A beg COACH. WHY U DROP A STAR TO WATCH. SUMONE HIS VACCUUM VIA INJURY IN D LAST CONCLUDED NATIONS CUP AFFECTED US. NOW HE IS FIT WHY CANT HE GO. DAYS ARE GONE WEN A PLAYER IS TAKEN TO TOURNAMENT FOR HIS PAST GLORY. PLS. IKECHUKWU UCHE IS MISSING IN DAT AND WITOUT HIM I DOUBT HOW FAR WE CAN GO. COACHY, GO FOR FIT AND NOT FOR PART GLORY. THINK ABOUT IT…

  12. HERE IN KENYA WE HAPPY&OPTIMISTIC THAT THE SELECTED TEAM WILL DELIVER VICTORY.I BELIEVE THE FRONT LINE WILL PUT US TO THE FINAL IF NOT SEMIFINAL.
HERE IN KENYA WHAT WE CAN SAY IS GOD BE WITH THEM.

  13. I really dont know the criteria the coach used for his selection. But if we are talking about soccer for real,Ike Uche and Apams shld replace Yak and Yobo.Well, the coach has decided,we have no choice.I love Nigeria.Good luck my eagles.May God help you to soar high in South Africa

  14. i understand that IK Unche is injured same happened to Apam Onyekachi, but what happen to Peter Utakah why did he drop him, to me o the coach is bias in his selection. Aiyegbeni should not even be on that list.

  15. as a football agent i think the coach as the final say but all i know is the squad is ok but they need to be careful with the way they play on the pitch and again the match against Argentina is must win game or else i know it won,t cause NFF to evicted the coach

  16. naija na wao for u. why this man omit ikechukwu uche from the squad. make we no talk say im better pass amodu shuaibu. the money wey we dey pay this man plenty. Nigeria columbia match na clear opener. Lets hope we are not disgraced. God be with us.

  17. U WILL SEE WHAT I WILL DO TO U IF WE DONT REACH ANYWHERE IN THE TURNERMENT………………..I DONT KNOW THE REASON WHY U DROP UCHE ANY WAY I WICH U BOIZ GOOD LUCK ………………………..TAKE CARE

  18. this is not how it should be ,yakubu can’t be compared with ike uche , uche is the only person that can easly bring changes ,nff na una sabioooooooooo , i dey wntch una luck shaa

  19. Well i agreed with d coach decision unfited players should b ruled out, we don’t want what happen in nation cup to repeat it self, good luck 4 the team.

  20. Uche being the highest goal scorer in the qualifiers does not entail that he is currently fit enough to score like before…we all remember how an injured Amokachi was taken to France 98, while a fully fit Akpoborie was dropped. Did we not pay the price then?

Let injured and unfit players pls take heart, 2015 is not that far away.

  21. it is a pity that Ike is left out of the team. but God knows why if it politics, tribalism or injury to all i wish them luck

  22. Nigeria all we need nw is praya d damage as been done dia is notin aney body can do about it praya is wat we need gd luk nigeria.

  23. i think nigerian should leave d squad and coach 2 sit and make corrections.d coach is new and he should be allow 2 understand squad bcos we nigerian we dont like 2 accept our own failure.

  24. Hello,

I am Sarawong Ton, the scouting contractor for Bec-Tero Sasana Football Club (Thai: สโมสรฟุตบอลบีอีซี เทโรศาสน) a newly opened club formed in 1992 {The Fire Dragons} to give young boys opportunity and structure to develop their football skills and team work ethics. We finished third in the Premier League last season. Arsenal Football Club, one of the world’s oldest and most respected Football teams, has announced a strategic partnership with Thailand’s entertainment giant BEC-TERO SASANA FC to create a historic football partnership whereby they can transfer players with the English club, they are also affiliated with Rangers FC, Hibernian, Celtic F and Mother well FC and recently provided eight players to the Thailand national football team.

Bec-Tero Sasana FC is now ready to build a team to play competitive matches to find a place in the Asian champion’s league. These features cannot be achieved without young and talented footballers with great skills, which are the reason I was hired by Bec-Tero Sasana FC to scout for skillful and talented young players from Africa, Europe and Asian countries. We will be grateful to receive you in our team for a professional football career trial as a player or an agent that will help us scout for talented players in your area.

We are currently hosting a three months trial tour, our main purpose is to recruit young and new footballers to help build our new team, so if you can play active football well, if you cannot play but have a brother or a friend that can play well, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

More importantly we won’t want people to abuse this gesture and use it as an opportunity to come to Thailand for any other purpose other than the football trial program, please we need footballers only !!!
