You are right on. I have been in Nigeria and have seen all of the corruption that goes on there. I ran with the "Haves" not the "Have Not's". Never before in my life, world traveler, have I seen anything so disgraceful. I was riding around in limos with MoPol's, drivers, with the "Haves". There would be young children, some cripple with polio and on flat carts come up to the limo and knock on the windows, begging for a naria. Here I was riding with people who have raped and stolen from Nigeria who told me to ignore them. I have been with some of these people in the USA. They live in utter oppulence, Manhatten Town Houses, real estate properties from Los Angeles, Marina Del Rey, Venice, all over New Jersey, Houston, Texas, Florida, Maryland, Aspen Colorado, Brooklyn, Queens, etc. These are multi million dollar residence. They stay at the Waldorf Astoria in New York, fly first class around the world, some even the Concorde when it was flying. Crooks. How can they ignore their own people, their own country. Most of the people in Nigeria still use coal oil lamps at night and as you mentioned live on 2 dollars a day. Traveling with these people, they shopped in the most expensive stores in France, England, and the United States. Neiman Marcus, Sakowitz, Ann Taylor , etc., ate at the most expensive restaurants, had limo drivers on call 24 hours a day, maids, butlers. etc. I knew the salary of one of these people and believe me, her numbers didn't add up. The common Nigerian treated me with respect and dignity. The "Haves" treated me like crap, even in my own country. They need a shaking. Man's Inhumanity to Man. God Bless Nigeria and It's People.
